From Building Bodies to Protecting Businesses: Nadav Ostrin's Journey into Cybersecurity Sales

Career changes are often described as starting over. In reality, the most successful transitions rarely begin from zero. They begin by recognizing that the skills you've already built can become the foundation for something much bigger.

Nadav Ostrin's journey is a perfect example.

Before cybersecurity, enterprise software and managing strategic accounts across Europe, Nadav built his own business in an entirely different world. As the founder of Ostrin Fitness, he spent years helping people transform themselves physically through discipline, consistency and coaching. He built a reputation by earning trust, motivating people to achieve ambitious goals and growing a business through relationships rather than shortcuts. (LinkedIn)

On the surface, fitness and enterprise technology couldn't seem further apart. One works with people in a gym; the other works with CISOs protecting global organizations from cyber threats. But the underlying skills are remarkably similar.

Both require resilience. Both demand the ability to understand people's challenges before offering solutions. Both are built on trust, long-term relationships and the discipline to improve every single day.

Nadav didn't need to become a different person to succeed in high tech. He needed to redirect the commercial energy he had already developed into a new industry.

That opportunity came through high tech sales retraining boot camp.

Rather than teaching people how to become salespeople from scratch, Salesclass helps ambitious professionals translate the strengths they already possess into the language of modern B2B technology sales. For Nadav, that meant learning enterprise outbound, mastering account-based prospecting, developing executive conversations and understanding how world-class SaaS companies build pipeline.

His first role after completing Salesclass was as an Enterprise BDR at BrandShield, a leading cybersecurity company. Working across Israel, EMEA and North America, he quickly established himself by engaging enterprise decision makers, building relationships with senior stakeholders and contributing to strategic sales opportunities.

From there, his career accelerated.

He joined IONIX, one of Israel's fastest-growing cybersecurity companies, where he worked with enterprise security leaders across complex Attack Surface Management and Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) initiatives. Within weeks, he helped close a six-figure enterprise deal while working alongside Account Executives, Customer Success and technical teams to support customers throughout the commercial lifecycle.

Today, Nadav has taken another major step forward as a Renewals Territory Account Manager at Check Point Software Technologies, one of Israel's largest and most respected technology companies. He now manages customer renewals across EMEA, owning strategic customer relationships, retention planning and long-term account growth for organizations that rely on Check Point to protect critical infrastructure.

It's a remarkable progression because every step built naturally on the one before it.

The communication skills developed with fitness clients became executive conversations with CIOs and CISOs. The discipline required to grow a small business became the consistency needed for enterprise prospecting. The commitment to helping people achieve better outcomes evolved into helping some of the world's largest organizations strengthen their cybersecurity.

Nadav's story reflects something we see repeatedly at Salesclass. Great commercial talent doesn't always come from traditional sales backgrounds. It often comes from entrepreneurs, coaches, educators, hospitality professionals and business owners who already know how to build trust, create value and stay resilient. What they need is the framework, the methodology and the opportunity to apply those strengths inside Israel's high-tech ecosystem.

Today, Nadav is helping protect organizations across international markets from sophisticated cyber threats. His path is proof that career transitions aren't about leaving your past behind—they're about taking the best of who you already are and applying it where the opportunities are greatest.
